And her she is delivered, and installed in the newly tidy garage, I think she looks fantastic!

Delivery Day - Finally my new Caterham Arrives!

So the big day has come around. Its been six long months since I placed my order back in September 2015, but Friday the 26th February 2016 is delivery day!

Here's my car arriving with Ian, the Caterham delivery driver, we both could not believe it was 8 years since he last delivered a Caterham kit to my house,,but time has a habit of flying by!

Garage Prep Part 2

Now that my Garage was looking a bit tidier, and after multiple trips to the tip, it was time to lay down the Race Deck floor tiles as recommended by Daniel French.

I also had a spare twin six foot fluorescent light fitting that I decided to mount on the wall for lighting at the car level, to help with the build process.

Now finally all the tiles were laid, and not too difficult, I must say, they do go together very easily and look very smart, they transform the look of the garage, and will hopefully make the floor warmer too.

Garage Prep for the Arrival

So since my Last Caterham went to its new owner in July 2015, I am ashamed to say that my garage has become a bit of a dumping ground, and embarrassingly looks like this!

Yes as you can see a proper mess, so these last two days a big project started to clear and tidy the garage that was going to house my new Caterham kit, and to add some insulation and other stuff to help with the build.

Caterham Factory Tour

Hello again everyone, sorry for the lack of posts, but had to do family stuff and holidays in Dubai with the kids for Half Term.

However just before we went away, we had a fantastic day at the Caterham Factory in Dartford, Kent.

As a group of Superlight Twenty owners, we had been invited by David Ridley to see our cars on the production line.

A great day out for all of us, and special thanks go to Graham Macdonald, Darren, Aliana, and of course Dave for making us all feel so welcome!
